Hi folks
Pardon me if this seems an ignorant question, but is there
functionality in BBEdit whereby I can produce a list of similar pages
with a template, whereby certain areas of the page are populated with
a list of data, say from a CSV file.
I guess I mean something similar to a Word Processor's mail merge
functionality.
The case in point: I have about 200 web pages to make displaying our
company's show reel of QuickTime movies.
Each page is exactly the same, but for the content related to the
particular video. I have a list of all the vids, their attributes
and so on, ready to populate my template, but it just seems silly
having to do it by hand.
I realise I could explore some kind of CMS solution, but I rather
like hand building my site, and find a lot of CMSes out there
limiting in one way or another.
Your advice would be appreciated.
