You can either select "Add..." from the Patterns popup in the Find & Replace window, or click on "Add..." in the Text Search preference pane.

Is there a way to save a search term? I have a grep search phrase set up. I use this search term every morning on a file I receive each day to do a find & replace. All I need is to pull up he find/replace dialog and have the search term handy. What I do now is have the search term stored in a text file and copy and paste it.
