Just curious,
When I ran BBEdit 8.6 for the first time, I looked for some
indication that it had picked up my already registered 8.5 serial
number.
Finding no indication that it had under the "About BBEdit" menu, I
chose to "Enter Serial Number ..." and gave it my old 8.5 serial. I
then checked under BBEdit's About menu to see my serial number now
listed correctly ... BUT the "Enter Serial Number ..." option never
greys out or goes away. Is this working as intended? Seems like if
the app has a good serial number entered that this pulldown option
should go away.
