Out of curiosity, do you regularly find reasons to view tab
separated Excel "txt" files with BBEdit?
I find it nearly impossible except for columns of pure numbers with
no interposed text items of varying length. Typewriters and 026 card
punches have better setting facilities for tab stops.
I do this frequently, roundtripping between BBEdit & Excel
because editing multiple fields in Excel is so painful, while viewing
non-fixed-length tabular data in in BBEdit is difficult.
