every time i look at my folder of a bazillion unix filters, i think 'man, other people would probably dig some of these.' i used to have a unix filters cookbook online, but it has fallen into disrepair. if i revived this concept, would some of you guys be willing to contribute content? at a bare minimum, i'd like to have a system where people can submit their unix filters. might also be useful if people could upload screen capture movies of particularly useful workflows they've derived? time and again i use bbedit to automate some dreary text processing task, saving countless hours of slogging, and often saving my client a bunch of money in the process.

i can host all of this stuff on my isp without a problem.
