Richard,

There is no option for this that I'm aware of, and I sometimes wish there was one. I'm guessing this was a design choice -- we may have to type a couple extra keys, but the result is that we always know where we were/are in the document. (But I still think it should be an option, as it's not hard to alert the user when a search wraps.)

If you're interested in shortcuts, however, my muscle-memory is keen on cmd-up, cmd-g. Or sometimes a bit longer: cmd-f, cmd-t, return.

Best,

Russ

Hi!

Is it possible to make BBedit search from top automatically if it does not find anything below the place you are searching from in the document? I know I can select "Start from top" in the search window, but that requires extra typing.

Thanks!

Best regards,
Richard Taubo
