I can't seem to make this work in a worksheet session though it
works fine when copy/pasted into a Terminal.app window.
scp $WORK/Pictures/BaggageCardboard.JPG
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/home/macn/ftp/bob/
The ssh agent is set up and running. I have taken pains to be sure
the ssh environment is set for the worksheet.
setenv
SECURITYSESSIONID=212c60
HOME=/Users/doug
SHELL=/bin/tcsh
WORK=/Volumes/Echo/Projects/Ross
SSH_AUTH_SOCK=/tmp/ssh-sDwc0J9qk8/agent.391
SSH_AGENT_PID=392

Is it something to do with Steve's security hangups? Is it a reason
for updating to a newer BBEdit? (I have to stay with OS neXt 10.3.9
because of my SE/30 file server that I'm not ready to part with.)
I have been using curl with the -n option and that works fine from a
worksheet but I'd rather advance to a more private procedure. And I
really want the command saved so I can execute it over and over.
Does "ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED] ls" work from a Terminal window
and a Worksheet? If not, try adding -v to the command. Are you using
an encrypted or unencrypted private key? If private, "ssh-add -l"
should show it. Does your scp command work in Terminal?
