With Mercurial (http://www.selenic.com/mercurial) distributed SCM
being widely adopted
(http://www.selenic.com/mercurial/wiki/index.cgi/ProjectsUsingMercurial)
by numerous/large projects as SCM-of-choice (e.g., Mozilla) it's
becoming "a need to have" on the dev box.

As such, I'd suggest & request its inclusion as one of BBEdit's
SourceControl options.

Just for information & comparison, the likes of TextMate
(http://MacroMates.com) editor already provide support for Mercurial,

http://lists.macromates.com/pipermail/textmate/2007-January/017020.html
http://macromates.com/svn/Bundles/trunk/Bundles/Mercurial.tmbundle/

as well as a Mercurial plugin available for EclipseIDE ...

Cheers!
