With Mercurial (http://www.selenic.com/mercurial) distributed SCM being widely adopted (http://www.selenic.com/mercurial/wiki/index.cgi/ProjectsUsingMercurial) by numerous/large projects as SCM-of-choice (e.g., Mozilla) it's becoming "a need to have" on the dev box.
As such, I'd suggest & request its inclusion as one of BBEdit's SourceControl options. Just for information & comparison, the likes of TextMate (http://MacroMates.com) editor already provide support for Mercurial, http://lists.macromates.com/pipermail/textmate/2007-January/017020.html http://macromates.com/svn/Bundles/trunk/Bundles/Mercurial.tmbundle/ as well as a Mercurial plugin available for EclipseIDE ...
