First, open all the files you want to change in BBEdit
(New -> FTP/SFTP Browser, then log in and open each of the files you
want to change)
Then, with the files open, do a multi-file search-and-replace
(Search -> Find , then put the text you want to find in the Search
For pane, and the text you want to replace in the Replace With pane,
and click Multi-File Search at the bottom of the box...then choose
the files from the pop-out drawer by clicking in the Open Text
Documents box, and then choose the Replace All button)
Then it'll ask you what you want to do with the resulting files --
save them to disk or just make the change and leave them open. If you
choose Save to Disk, it'll save them back to the server.
If you don't want to have to open up all the files initially, you
could write an Applescript to open the file, make the change, save
it, and close it.
