It's a non-trivial task to add good folding to a language.
Hmmm, well, considering that you can turn on "balance while typing" and get realtime feedback on a given block, it seems like the basics to know what a block is are there. Perhaps you're right though and they use something other then the general language syntax system to discover blocks.
It just seems to me like it should work if I'm able to use "balance and fold" and "balance while typing"... I guess they just coded the fold "discoverer" a different way.
