Hi All,

I've been using BBEdit 8.7.1 under Leopard for a day or two now, and everything looks pretty good. In fact, I don't think BBEdit has ever looked better! The loss of the pin stripes in the tool bar and behind the line numbers if a big plus in my eyes. I also like the look of the document drawer.

However, I am seeing some very minor graphics glitches that have me scratching my head. These are very small things and might go unnoticed by someone less picky than me. :)

(1) With a single text document window open with unsaved changes, I select Search > Compare Against Disk File and, just as the full screen "comparison layout" pops up, I see a strange half-inch border around the original text document window for a split second before the screen redraws. Functionality is not impacted, but visually, it gives the impression that there's something wrong with window redrawing. Does anyone else see this phenomenon?

(2) With a single text document window open and the Document Drawer extended, repeatedly hiding and showing BBEdit seems to sometimes leave the Document Drawer behind for a split second after the main window has been hidden. Again, there's no impact on functionality. It just gives the impression of diminished window redraw speed. Anyone else see this?

I suppose these issues could be specific to my machine or my particular model, but I don't think I have anything unusual installed that could be causing this, and booting into Safe Mode resulted in no change in the phenomena.

My machine is a 2.4 GHz 17-inch MacBook Pro with 4 GB of RAM and a GeForce 8600M GT graphics card running at 1920 x 1200 on the internal display.
