RFC 2822 says that header lines can be continued with immediately succeeding lines that start with at least one white space character. The headers end with a blank line - two returns in sequence. It's also OK, these days, for headers to go as far as 998 characters plus a return/linefeed when actually sent out over the net. A script could watch for the start of a message and begin replacing /\r\s+/ with a space until a blank line is found and then switch to copy mode until the start of the next message which is usually a line beginning with From followed by white space (no colon) but that may depend on your mail client. And use /\n\s+/ if you try using perl or another UNIX-like script. -- --> From the U S of A, the only socialist country that refuses to admit it. <-- -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Have a feature request?
