I'm running Excel 2008, and it doesn't work in this new version. So, it still seems like a Carbon-specific problem, but if it worked in 2004, perhaps the focus on the dialog box *could* be fixed in BBEdit (at least).
BTW, I actually forgot about this feature of LB. Thanks for bringing it back to my attention.
