it is possible to disable the tooltips that pop up in the documents drawer? whenever i use the documents drawer to switch to a different document (i.e. mouse over to the list and click a filename), a couple seconds later a tooltip pops up and covers up part of my editing window. i guess the correct way to switch documents would be to move the cursor somewhere else after clicking but i always forget to do that (unless of course i'm actually editing the document), and it's inefficient if my next action is going to be to click another document. the info in the tooltip is repeated in the "file path" field at the top of the editing window anyway so the tooltip is never useful to me.
i've found a plist hack that increases the tooltip delay system-wide but a lot of applications seem to ignore this, including bbedit (i have NSInitialToolTipDelay set to 500000 but i still see tooltips all the time). -- Mark -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Have a feature request?
