I use scons for buliding some projects. These projects have SConstruct and SConscript files and my BBEdit 9.0.1 presently thinks these are not text files and so will not open them.
The draconian solution is to make it open even non-text files, but that results in project-wide search looking in object code and other undesirable locations. I'd really like to convince BBEdit that files named SConscript and SConstruct are normal text files (and, if possible, should have Python syntax coloring). But any solution that result in being able to edit these files and not search object code (.o, .os, .so, .pyc, etc.) would be appreciated. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BBEdit Talk" group.
