I was about to write that it was working correctly on my system, but now I see it only fails if the Find window is *not front-most*. In other words, if I drag some string from a text window and then hit Exposé to bring the Find window to the front, the Find window accepts the dragged text with no problem. Also, if the Find window is already in front and I have some previously-selected text in a backgrounded text window, I can grab that selected text from the background window and successfully drop it into the Find dialog. However, if I select a string from a foreground text window and try to drag it into the find or replace field in the Find window while the Find window is still in the background, the destination field of the Find window highlights but nothing gets entered when I drop the dragged text. -Dennis --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BBEdit Talk" group.
