Last year I ended up moving to TextMate as my Ruby on Rails IDE; when BBEdit 9.0 came out, I happily came back into the fold, and I haven't looked back.
I just wrote a blog post sharing some tips for easing the transition. It specifically deals with using the new Projects functionality, includes some tips for setting up multi-file search, and provides information (and a cheat sheet!) for the effective use of Ruby and Rails clippings. You can find the post at http://www.idolhands.com. If anyone in the community here has additional tips that they would like to share, please let me know!
