Curious, what font and point size do you use in your editor? Do you also edit in anti-aliased? Personally, I am not a fan of the new line numbers, I find them hard to read. They should just be the font you use in your editor, and size as well. If you use a larger point size, the line numbers have to have a lot of space between them. If the line numbers were the same as your editor, they would adjust in size.
