When I use Text Factory to run an Applescript against a folder full of HTML files, I get an error for each file, but no error message--just a bullet where the message would be. Actually, the message says "Error:" in red, then the name of the file, then, on the next line, the bullet.
I've tried running the script against some of the files by itself, and it works fine and I get no errors. What's doubly perplexing is that the first time I tried it, it *did* work, and it processed about 60 files just fine. Then at some point the whole thing hung up, because the script used Tidy but did not close the Tidy results window, thus stacking up too many open windows. I ended up having to power off the machine to get out of it, and since then, I'm getting nothing but errors. I've reinstalled BBEdit (9.1), and deleted the preferences files in Library > Preferences. I've replaced all the files I was working on. Still the same behavior. Any help warmly appreciated. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BBEdit Talk" group.
