Just do a "Get Info" on a 'BBEdit file' and select BBEdit as the preferred app to open them. Then click the "Change All..." button. Be aware, however, that '.html' files are, by default, normally opened/ used by browsers. This change will not affect your web browsing but it rather non-intuitive. I think it is caused by Apple's decision to stop using the much more effective 'type and creator' method that worked so well in the past. At least as long as you didn't expect Windows to know what to do with your files. OTOH, Windows still doesn't know that, anyway...
