A quick Google search suggests that you have permission differences. You probably don't have permission to write to the file.
Apple's listing of Mac OS error codes - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1618 Macrumors goes into some detail - http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=475176 I don't know if running "repair permissions" from your notebook would give you permission on the G5. It may take some more command line work. In the terminal app, type in man chmod or man chown for details command line options.
