Greetings BBEdit lovers, I was having trouble accessing Open Recent items through the Help menu on startup in BBEdit 9.2.1. My preferred method of opening recent items is to invoke the Help menu with command-? (new to Leopard OS) and typing "rec" then arrowing up/down and hitting "enter" on my item of choice. Not sure what is causing the problem but I have a workaround and here I have summarized the issue:
*Upon startup of BBEdit 9.2.1, if I attempt to access the Open Recent command from the help menu (with either keyboard or mouse), it displays "(no items)." However, if I click on "(no items)" or hit "enter" on the keyboard, then invoke Open Recent a second time from the Help menu, recently opened items display properly.* Just wanted to send this out in case anyone else was having the same problem. If you access Open Recent via the File menu you will not encounter this issue. Thanks to Patrick Woolsey from BareBones for his valiant attempts to troubleshoot my BBEdit installation.
