Does anyone else have this problem with the contextual menu
for 'Look Up in Dictionary' from BBEdit? If I select a word and
right-click to pulldown 'Look Up in Dictionary', the Dictionary
app opens but the selected word is not loaded into the search
box so, no definition shows up.
This fails when Dictionary is not open - if Dictionary is
already open before the right-click to Look Up it works fine. It
also works fine if you use the top menubar to pulldown
BBEdit>Services>Look Up in Dictionary instead of contextual menu.
It's not a huge problem but, just wondering if this is a
new bug due to Snow Leopard or something. I'm on OS 10.6.1 & BBE
9.2.1. The same problem also occurs in Mailsmith 2.2.2. But,
otherwise it seems to work fine from other apps that have
Dictionary in contextual Menu.
