just curious this morning - why does bbedit open a new sftp connection to save a file instead of reusing an existing one? it seems like half the delay in saving comes from opening the initial connection, and you have to have a pretty blazing fast connection to save fast enough to avoid the "opening sftp connection" box if the document's on an internet server.
