If you keep a worksheet window open somewhere, you can keep a set of command line operations there to open either a directory browser or a specific file directly. One caveat, I'm not sure if this will apply for FTP and I don't have any systems where I can easily test it right now. Anyway, the general setup looks like this... bbedit sftp://u...@system/path/to/edit/ If you want to edit something in the global space, you'll need a double slash right after the system name.
