Or is there > another issue afoot? It sounds to me as if the Service being made available by the context menu it that coming from the old copy of BBEdit. If you go to System Preferences > Keyboard and click on the Keyboard Shortcuts Tab you'll be able to see all the available Services. Are the BBEdit ones duplicated? If so switch the Open File ones about. You may haver to login again... Hope that helps.
