That was the problem. Thanks for pointing it out.
Having to remove 2000 line feeds would be a daunting task. ;-)

I suspect that you may have turned off the "Translate Line Breaks" preference (Preferences -> Text Files) and saved the file with Windows line breaks. Turning that preference back on and reopening the file should restore normal operation.
