I want to be able to preview in Apple HelpViewer while editing html in BBEdit. Yes, I understand that HelpViewer usually screws things up a little more once you install your book in an app, but it helps to get most of the crap fixed before then.
I'm using BBEdit 9.3.1. In Preferences > HTML Preview, I can "Add" "HelpViewer" to the list, but then it gives me a dialog, apparently wanting me to locate HelpViewer which, in Snow Leopard, I believe there is none. There is no "Help Viewer" (with a space) either. So, BBEdit 9 leaves me at a dead end. I'm not sure what broke it, but this definitely worked before I upgraded from BBEdit 8 to BBEdit 9 a few weeks ago. In Snow Leopard, too. I didn't need to add it in Preferences. Help Viewer was "just there", in the "Preview In" submenu. Thank you! Jerry Krinock -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "BBEdit Talk" discussion group on Google Groups.
