My preferred editor font is Inconsolata 12. But unfortunately that font won't
show tab stops and spaces in BBEdit 9.6. I guess the tab stop and space
characters (delta and diamond) are simply missing from the font, and that makes
Show Invisibles pretty useless.
I just looked back into BBEdit 8.7.2, in that version tab stops and space
characters would show also when using Inconsolata. How is that? Was BBEdit
smart enough to substitute those characters with some other font if they were
missing in the display font?
Can we have that behavior back in BBEdit 9.6 so I can continue to use
Inconsolata?
