I can't account for the change (I haven't looked into it yet),
and there certainly was no intent to break working scripts.
However, you should note that targeting the text of a window,
rather than the window itself, is the recommended best practice,
and should work in 9.6.2 (and forever). That may serve as a
workaround while I investigate a fix.
