I just tried two big ol' Java XML editors. Editix's command to generate a DTD isn't implemented in the free version, and oXygen's command gives file not found error (duh, it doesn't exist yet). Dum de dum dum.

Ah, oXygen's UI has 4 ways to apparently generate a DTD, but only one of them actually works (Document -> XML Document -> Save Structure). Yay Java.
I guess I can use it now. :-)
