Ever since upgrading to 9.6.3, all my BBEdit files save automatically as Unix executable files, no matter what I do. I called BBEdit and was told it has nothing to do with BBEdit, that it's an OS problem, that the OS only recognizes the files as Unix. Before 9.6.3, however, no BBEdit files were ever saved as Unix files. This is extremely frustrating. Is there any way to return to having files saved as BBEdit files again? My OS did not change, it is still Mac 10.5.8.
