That URL won't work if you've moved BBEdit out of the Application Folder.
This should work under most circumstances:
try
tell application "BBEdit"
set bbeditPath to (path to it) as text
set bbeditHelpPath to (bbeditPath & "Contents:Resources:BBEdit
Help:index.htm") as alias
end tell
tell application "System Events" to set bbeditHelpPathURL to URL of
bbeditHelpPath
# Uses the default web browser
# Uncomment to use
# open location bbeditHelpPathURL
# Opens a new document window in Safari
tell application "Safari"
make new document with properties {URL:bbeditHelpPath}
end tell
on error errMsg number errNum
set sep to "=============================="
set e to sep & return & "Error: " & errMsg & return & sep & return ¬
& "Error Number: " & errNum & return & sep
beep
display dialog e
end try
