There is nothing about BBEdit 10 that precludes you from also running 9, if you wish to. In fact, during the development cycle for 10, there were several instances where running 9 was a requirement! If there are things in 9 that make you prefer it over 10, please let us know what they are. We may not be able to address them and still move the product forward, but we'll certainly take a look.
