I didn't pay much attention to the comments at the time, as they did not affect me directly. But were there not comments to the effect that the BBEdit one gets through MAS does not allow you to access System files?
I suggested that that was the case to my son, Apple Cupertino Servers Division or some such, and he challenged the assertion. I did search the last week or so's digests, but could not find what I wanted. What am I talking about? (Q.V. Admiral Stockdale, "What am I doing here?") In short, what are the differences between the BBEdit I purchase from R*ch and the one I may purchase from the Mac App Store?
