Like most of you, I just received a notice that BBEdit had a new update for which I would be charged $49.99 ($39.99 if I HURRY and buy it NOW!)
Yet I am still waiting for closer on two related bug reports that date all the way back to Mar 10, 2010 (yes... I meant 2010, not 2011). Actually, the bugs were noticed earlier, but not reported until then. This has to do with the Macro Editor ceasing to work in version 9.3.1 and in regard to problems where "Markup/Utilities/Format..." is unable to properly format PHP/HTML code that contains "<script>" tags. I devoted a great deal of time to providing step by step examples and each time the issue was acknowledged and then ignored months at a time. I'm curious who else has experienced these issues and a lack of support from BareBones? I'm the last one who would expect to receive FREE program upgrades.
