This may help you. You can make the file browser active, select all your files, and open them. "In project windows, the file list does not accept keyboard focus by default, unless the editing view is hidden. You can modify this so that the file list gets the focus whenever you click on it:" defaults write com.barebones.bbedit ProjectsListCanAcquireKeyboardFocus -bool YES > 2) Same goes for saving files i have modified, do i really have to save them > one by one? Save-All still works. Cmd-Opt-S or 'File'-->Option-'Save' > 3) Is there no way to resize / remove the various elements in a project > window (currently open / recent / worksheet) Not as far as I know. Perhaps an undocumented expert setting? Yes. It bugs me to not be able to resize these items. For that matter I still want to be able to move everything but the file browser back over to the right side of the project window. I have more horizontal space than vertical. > 4) I have projects which contain similar files from various sites, to make my > life a lot easier. Is this the correct behaviour or a bug? Surely a bug. If I rename such a file using BBEdit and then save, it reverts to its previous name. If on the other hand I rename the file in the Finder, the name change seems to stick. Okay. This continues to be true through a restart of BBEdit. I just crashed BBEdit while creating, renaming, and trashing a new file. -- Best Regards, Chris -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "BBEdit Talk" discussion group on Google Groups.
