Am I missing something in the manual? Can't seem to see where on the windows the number of currently open documents is displayed - or how I get that figure reported. I tend to have a lot open and if the count goes up it's a useful reminder to close a few docs I don't now need. Not seeing it in toolbar or status bar I figured it must be in a tooltip for the Currently-open-docs pane title bar, but no.
Project/current docs/recent docs panes. If I click into one of these to select a different file from currently displayed, the change fails if the file is already selected. This seems a bona fide bug as the selection has no meaning once another document is loaded. I guess each if the 3 panes is overlooking that other panes might alter the currently displayed file. Actually it's quite useful seeing what I last clicked from each pane - I just wish it didn't screw up setting the current document choice. Can't seem to find the place to put the cursor to alter the height of the sub-panes. Or are they fixed? Recent documents. It would be nice if Recent documents also showed the history (order of opening & display). IOW open a doc, select another anf that switch back to the first, then the latter moves to top in the recent-docs list as being the most recently viewed item in the list. Seems minor but helps a lot when toggling between large numbers of open files (especially as pane heights seem fixed) Overall though, I do like the changes. -- mwra -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "BBEdit Talk" discussion group on Google Groups.
