I have a series of web pages which form a section of site. The main body of the
page is unique and there are also small bits of unique information in the rest
of the page, like the title and the breadcrumbs etc. I need to remember to add
these little chunks each time.

Enter Placeholders. Ideally what I would like open a Template and navigate from
placeholder to placeholder adding the unique information. However Placeholders
in Templates are added at the open of the document and don’t have the
#PLACEHOLDERS TART#label#PLACEHOLDEREND# type Placeholder enabled in Clippings.

One way around this is to have a complete page in a clipping and create each
page by opening a blank text document and invoking the clipping. Or am I
missing something?

Also, aside from the possibility of Placeholders in Templates there does not
seem to be much difference between Templates and Stationary – why have two very
similar types of functionality?

TIA
