I'm new to doing anything other than plain text editing with BBEdit. Recently started adding Markdown to my files and converting through Marked. Now I see that BBEdit can handle the conversion as well. I'd like at least to be able to see my Markdown syntax in color, but the only way I can figure out to make that happen is by establishing a custom file extension. Do I need to do that? Or is there another alternative?
I'd like to keep working with .txt, so that anything I happen to be working on at a given moment can turn into Markup if it needs to, without saving as...
