I can resize the window by dragging the lower corners or any edge
other than the top.
I could not get hold of the window to move it. The titlebar (traffic
light buttons, window title and full-screen button) was completely
obscured behind the menubar, meaning the only draggable region (for a
move) wasn't reachable.

I had tried closing and re-opening BBEdit, in the hope that it would
"shock" it out of the confused state, but it made no difference.
