On the subject of Unix filters, what is the correct way to call built
in unix filters? Is it wrapping them in a shell script? Out of
curiosity I tried symlinking to /usr/bin/sort in the Text Filters
folder, but it did not show up in the text filters menu. Creating a
shell script that wrapped it worked just fine. (By the way, I am not
looking for a way to sort text, I was just using this particular
command as an example.)

I am a recent convert to BBEdit, but I am beginning to see why so many
people swear by it.

Best regards,
Helge
