I like UltraEdit on the PC but not so much on the Mac. That feature could be useful, but I'd be surprised to see it materialize in BBEdit - especially since prefix lines exists and can be bound to a keyboard shortcut. But you never know. I also tried doing a find/replace on the columnar-selection, and BBEdit 10.0.2 (3089) choked. I find the way open/close File List functions uncomfortable and wish the file list would extend to the left rather than the edit area extending to the right.
