Nobody knows whether there will be enough flexibility in the rules to allow the sorts of cross-application workflows that many folks take for granted. With the strictest possible interpretation of the sandboxing rules, the answer is clearly 'not a chance', but I don't consider that the most likely outcome.

I ask simply because I'm trying to decide whether to order from the MAS or the version you sell direct. I'm leaning towards the direct version purely on this issue. But if it won't be an issue I'll just get it from MAS.

What you buy today will work. Unfortunately I am unable to predict what will happen down the road. If necessary we'll look at some way to accommodate, as we do today for authenticated saves.
