Hi, I found a bug in BBedit's FTP/SFTP browser window. I regularly work on SFTP server, and found this bug very irritating:
1. Suppose you are in the folder on SFTP server where you are running some processes and expect to get a result (output) file in the same folder; and that folder is currently open in BBedit's SFTP/FTP browser window. When the process you run generates any output file, and you click the refresh button on the Bbedit's SFTP/FTP browser window, you would be happy to see your file, open it, etc... But... 2. But, when you delete that file manually (using BBedit's SFTP Browser window) things change!!! Now when you rerun some processes to regenerate a new file with the "same name" and click refresh button it doesn't refresh!!! (This problem doesn't happen when i use Fetch software for same work) 3. You might have to delete the file sometimes as the process might write to the file in "append" mode, and you don't want to make it too big.. 4. The solution i use now to see the file in the list is to either exit and reenter that folder in FTP/SFTP browser window, or toggle the "Show items with "."" checkmark. 5.
