Am I missing something or this option has been changed? I am trying to do a column select in 10.0.1 and it is not working. Hold Option key and drag the mouse, right? That's what the manual says. But I am not getting any difference in selection behavior whether I hold Option, Command, Shift, Ctrl, or any combination of these keys. Is there something wrong with my config or did I find a problem?
