I'm working a Rails project and I've noticed that when I select "Save All" to save every text file in a project, that some files I've added via the finder drag method disappear. Re-reading that part in the manual affirms this is preferred to add these newly added files. The green add button is rarely active but I've not been able to intuit under what context it will be active to add files into specific rails folders.
I'm sure it's been addressed before, but is there an equivalent command like git's "add ." to automatically add any newly-created files into a project? It appears I have to dig into each folder to add into an existing project and hope I don't miss one. I did a search in this group but must not have the right search terms to make it come up near the top. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "BBEdit Talk" discussion group on Google Groups.
