It's in my $HOME folder & vim can access it. Also when trying to save, all
hidden folders in my $HOME folder are inaccessible by BBEdit whereas iTerm,
vim, etc do not have the same problems.

I regularly rsync various directories in my $HOME directory to a remote host
so all ownership is me:admin with the appropriate permissions & also the
directories can be accessed to open files in BBEdit just I'm not able to
save to them.
