BTW, I know that I can add a keyboard shortcut to a specific filter.
But, when there are numerous, it starts to get a bit cumbersome coming
up with (and adding more) shortcuts.

Ideally what I would like would be something akin to the "Open File by
Name" method of finding things:

- Say I add a keyboard shortcut to bring up the Text Filter list.
- The Text Filer palette has focus.
- It either contains a search text field, or it detects key presses.
- As I then start to type, it can narrow down the list of available
text filters.
- When I'm on the one that I want, I just hit Enter to run it.

All without reaching for the mouse.
