Absolutely agree and it STILL doesn't suck! It does make me feel rather old 
because I think I started with the first or second version. 

BBEdit is perhaps the only piece of software that is always open (and I'm a 
designer, not a programmer). It has helped me clean up thousands of client 
word files and solved thousands of simple to complex jobs ... anything 
involving text ... it has always done well by me!

Most of all it hasn't been sold to some faceless big company to be mangled 
and repurposed by marketing people. Congratulations but also many many 
thanks!
